Chrome extension
Too many tabs slowing Chrome down? Send them to a named group in two keystrokes. TabVault closes them to free memory, and reopens the whole group whenever you need it.
Free. No account. Your tabs stay on your computer.
Features
Park the tabs you're not using in named groups, and get them back in one click when you need them.
Press Option+Shift+S, type to find a group or name a new one, and press Enter. The tab is saved and closed.
Option+Shift+W saves every tab in the window at once. Pinned tabs are left alone.
Right-click any page and pick a group from "Save tab to group" for one-click saving.
"Open all" brings a group back in a new window. Only the first tab loads; the rest load when you click them.
One click unloads background tabs from memory but keeps them open, right where they are.
Optional and off by default. Turn it on to list every tab you close, even ones you didn't save.
Shortcuts
In the group picker: type to search or name a new group, ↑ ↓ to move, Enter to save, Esc to cancel. Change the shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Privacy
TabVault has no servers and no accounts. What you save is kept in Chrome's local extension storage and never sent anywhere.
